Brian Wilson underwent Tommy John surgery last Thursday to repair the damaged ulnar collateral ligament in his throwing arm and the only report immediately afterward was that it “went as planned.”
We’ve learned from Brian Wilson himself that the plan was borrowing a ligament from Sasquatch and the hit song from the Night Shift soundtrack:
Surgery was perfect. Borrowed ligament from my ol’ pal Sasquatch. Only side effects: hairy arm and I talk like a wookie bit.ly/JHg9lF

Brian Wilson – putting a whole new meaning to the old baseball adage, “put some hair on it.”
Tommy John typically requires 12-14 months for a full recovery, but Wilson has never really adhered to societal norms. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s back much sooner and throwing 125 with the flick of the wrist without a leg kick … from second base, because pitching from the mound would no longer be fair.
