This is footage from last night’s game between my hometown Harrisburg Senators and the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Squirrels pitcher Eric Surkamp catching Harper looking on a pitch that looks to be a tad bit off the plate. Harper assumes it’s a ball and starts trotting down to first before being called out. Predictably, he completely loses it, spiking his helmet and getting in the umpire’s face. Did I mention that he’s still only 18 years old? Harper may have god-given talent, but he’s got the attitude of a five year old.
