Carlos Gomez dyed his goatee pink for Mother’s Day

Most players wear pink gear on Mother’s Day in support of breast cancer awareness. Apparently the armbands, cleats and bats weren’t enough for Carlos Gomez, though — the Milwaukee centerfielder went above and beyond by dying his goatee pink for Sunday’s game against the Yankees.

Gomez reached base three times with the pink goatee and stole a base, so maybe he’ll have to think about doing it again next year.
