TOC’s bold predictions for 2014

With the season on the horizon, the TOC staff decided to go out on a limb and make some bold predictions about 2014. Here’s what we’ve come up with.

Scott Allen: 1. Pablo Sandoval finishes Top 3 in NL MVP voting.
2. Mark Trumbo has most HR’s in MLB.
3. Mike Trout posts the first 11 WAR season in a decade.
Ian Casselberry:
The Cubs will trade Starlin Castro in July.
Pat Lackey: Jose Fernandez will ride one of the Day Glo Nightmare Dolphins in the Marlins’ outfield monstrosity.
Jaymes Langrehr: Tim Lincecum bounces back and finishes in the Top 3 of the Cy Young voting.
Tim Livingston:
Mike Trout will become the fifth member of the vaunted 40-40 Club.
Joe Lucia: The Miami Marlins finish third in the NL East.
Garrett Wilson:
The Phillies fire Amaro mid-season and blow up the roster.

So, what crazy things do *you* think will happen in 2014?

About Joe Lucia

I hate your favorite team. I also sort of hate most of my favorite teams.
