TMZ is reporting (and good lord, I can’t believe I just sourced TMZ) that former Indians, Red Sox, and Dodgers star Manny Ramirez was arrested in Weston, Florida on Monday night in connection with a domestic violence complaint filed by his wife. Ramirez was led out of his home in cuffs, and hey, here’s his mug shot!
Just another case of Manny being Manny, or is there something more problematic afoot here? Regardless of what the case is, domestic abuse is no joking matter, and if the allegations are proven to be true, it’s yet another black mark on his legacy, this one damning towards the personal side of his affairs as opposed to his on the field troubles
