Here's your ridiculous video of the day. During Thursday night's Cubs-Pirates game, Chicago outfielder Darnell McDonald hit a ball to deep left center field. The ball one-hopped the wall, and a young fan was poised to snag the ball.
But he didn't snag the ball, because a larger, older fan steamrolled him to grab it. Neither of them even got the damn ball! And both fans were wearing Pirates gear, so it's not as if they're going for a piece of history from the team's first winning season since 1992. It was a ground rule double from Darnell McDonald. Totally worth smashing a kid for, right?
