In last night Phillies-Giants game, which ended up being a 9-2 Phillies win, benches cleared in the sixth inning after Ramon Ramirez hit Shane Victorino in the hip. Three players were ejected: Ramirez, Victorino, and Giants catcher Eli Whiteside. Ramirez plunked Victorino on the first pitch after homering earlier in the game, while Victorino charged the mound (and made a second run at the mound after the brawl had calmed down some), while Whiteside was looking for a fight as Victorino stormed towards the mound, and even tried a double leg takedown on (I think) Chase Utley.
