At Thursday's Mets-Cubs game, performers from Cirque du Soleil threw out the first pitch. It was…well, creepy is one word I'd use to describe it. Bizarre is another. Who thought this was a good idea? There's no word yet if Adam Rubin has ever heard of Cirque du Soleil, though. As we wrote about yesterday, CM Punk will throw out the first pitch on Friday night for New York's opener with the Marlins, and he's just a bit different from the Cirque du Soleil performers.
