Cardinals outfielder Stephen Piscotty leaves field on stretcher after collision

In the seventh inning of Monday’s Pirates-Cardinals game at PNC Park, Cardinals outfielder Stephen Piscotty left the game on a stretcher after a collision with Peter Bourjos.

Here’s the video. It’s not a pretty sight, as Piscotty took Bourjos’ knee in his face.

Thankfully, Piscotty did wave to the crowd when leaving the field, but this did not look good.

Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery.

UPDATE: The Cardinals reported that Piscotty has a head contusion and that all tests were negative.

Fantastic news.
