The longest home runs for the week ending September 24th

So we’re nearing the end – only one more edition of this column left this season. No one has come close to taking Giancarlo Stanton out of the top spot, so it’s really just a race for second place. Can anyone dislodge Nelson Cruz from that position? Stay tuned…

1. Peter Bourjos vs Jumbo Diaz, 450 feet (September 23rd)

Peter Bourjos into Big Mac Land. Baseball is dumb sometimes.

2. Jackie Bradley Jr vs Roberto Osuna, 448 feet (September 19th)

A Toronto-aided homer yes, but still quiet impressive from JBJ.

3. Jay Bruce vs John Lackey, 447 feet (September 22nd)

So yeah, this homer by Bruce hit off the second deck in right field. Incredible.

4. Starling Marte vs Mike Bolsinger, 445 feet (September 20th)

Homers that nearly reach the second section of the pavilion at Dodger Stadium? Also awesome.

4. Robinson Cano vs Jeremy Guthrie, 445 feet (September 22nd)

And this homer by Cano is swimming. Another one of my favorite things in the world.
