This is a scary sight. During Thursday night’s Cardinals-Brewers game at Miller Park, Milwaukee starter Jimmy Nelson got hit in the head with a line drive off the bat of Tommy Pham.
Incredibly, Nelson was able to walk off the field under his power a short time later. It looks like he got his arm up in time to deflect the majority of the blow. Hopefully, Nelson has no long-lasting damage from this frightening incident and he’s OK.
