SEATTLE, WA – SEPTEMBER 16: Kyle Seager #15 of the Seattle Mariners gestures toward the mound after being hit with a pitch by starting pitcher Jered Weaver of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the fifth inning at Safeco Field on September 16, 2015 in Seattle, Washington. Kyle Seager taunted Jered Weaver into hitting him, getting ejected

Kyle Seager masterfully trolled Jered Weaver on Wednesday night at Safeco Field.

Seager was in the box in the fifth inning, continually adjusting himself in the batter’s box, asking for time, and jawing with Weaver in the process.

Then Weaver hit him in the arm and was ejected.

In the grand scheme of things, Weaver’s ejection didn’t matter – the Angels were already losing 3-0, Weaver was at 78 pitches, and would have likely come out after the sixth inning anyway. The Angels only scored one more run on the night, the Mariners scored none, and the final was 3-1.

You might want to circle September 27th on your calendar, though – Weaver is scheduled to start for the Angels against the Mariners at Angel Stadium to close out the last series of the year between the teams. Fireworks could ensue.
