Paul Goldschmidt lined a double that got stuck in the wall

We see balls get stuck between the pads of the outfield wall every so often, but they usually get stuck after a bounce.

On Tuesday night, Paul Goldschmidt hit a screamer of a line drive against the Cardinals that got stuck between the pads without even bouncing.

That’s a ground rule double. Goldschmidt would score the Diamondbacks’ only run of the night later in the inning on a sac fly.
