The longest home runs for the week ending July 23rd

After a week off, we’re back! Hopefully, the dingers over the last week and a half are enough of an apology. I’m even giving you an EXTRA dong this week because of ties!

1. JD Martinez vs Taijuan Walker, 466 feet (July 21st)

When you’re hitting balls on top of the camera well, I don’t think we can call you a “fluke” anymore.

2t. Kendrys Morales vs Felix Doubront, 453 feet (July 12th)

Hey Kendrys…LOOK INSIDE THE BUTTERSCOTCH WATERFALLLLLLLLL /pop/

2t. Alex Rodriguez vs Kevin Gausman, 453 feet (July 22nd)

Homers into the left field bleachers at Yankee Stadium always have *something* to them – this blast by A-Rod was no exception.

4t. David Freese vs Noe Ramirez, 452 feet (July 20th)

This dinger by Freese cleared not one, but *two* fences. Of course, he was placed on the DL soon after going yard, sooooo…

4t. Nelson Cruz vs Shane Greene, 452 feet (July 21st)

Not nearly as majestic as Martinez’s blast, this was still a monster shot from Cruz.

4t. Eric Hosmer vs Charlie Morton, 452 feet (July 22nd)

It’s funny – this homer was virtually the same distance as Morales’s homer earlier, but yet, it looks much less impressive since it went into the seats rather than a waterfall.
