Houston Astros outfielder Jake Marisnick made a wonderful catch on Sunday to rob Brock Holt of extra bases, and earned himself a face full of Green Monster (phrasing…) for his troubles.
This was actually the second great defensive play of the game by Marisnick, following a laser beam throw to third base in the second inning.
Houston took the lead in the top of the seventh, but Boston pulled back ahead for good in the bottom half of the inning thanks to a two-run homer from Hanley Ramirez that even Marisnick couldn’t prevent.
