Carlos Correa circled the bases on a routine fly ball

Carlos Correa hit what looked like a routine fly ball in the fourth inning of Sunday’s Yankees-Astros game.

But this is baseball, and crazy things happen from time to time. Today, Correa’s ball wasn’t caught, and all hell broke loose.

It went down in the books as a double and a two base error on center fielder Brett Gardner, who fumbled the ball after it fell between Gardner and left fielder Garrett Jones.

Little League home run? Well, not the traditional definition of one, which usually involves infielders throwing the ball everywhere. Nevertheless, this was still awesome.
