Before Thursday's Mets-Rockies game at Citi Field, US Olympic gymnastics gold medalist Gabby Douglas threw out the first pitch. Douglas was one of two people to throw out the first pitch before the game, along with the president of the "National Urban League", on behalf of Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Of course, Douglas got the much larger ovation from the crowd along with more attenion. The 16-year old Douglas had a hell of an arm too, actually getting the ball to the dirt around the plate in the air, though it was a little bit off-line.
