You guys…we’ve reached the second to last edition of the longest homers of the week this season. We’ll follow up with one more next week, and wrap up the season with a longest homers of the year compendium the following Monday. This week, our list is headed by Brandon Moss of the Oakland Athletics, a team that really needs to hang their hat on something this September.
1. Brandon Moss vs Nick Tepesch, 453 feet (September 16th)
We see a lot of home runs to right field at O.co Coliseum…but typically not where Moss hit this one.
2. Wilin Rosario vs Addison Reed, 449 feet (September 18th)
You won’t see a more dramatic homer on this list. Rosario hit this one deep into the Denver evening to send the Rockies to a walk off victory, and give all of the fans free tacos.
3. Steven Souza Jr vs Alex Wood, 445 feet (September 17th)
When you can do *this* with the first home run of your career? Yeah, that’s impressive. And the ball didn’t land in the crowd, so Souza wouldn’t have to worry about an angry Braves fan getting the ball and burning it.
4. Brandon Barnes vs Yimi Garcia, 444 feet (September 17th)
This thing just kept going, and going, and going…and by the time it landed, it was halfway up the left field section of seats at Coors.
5t. Edwin Encarnacion vs Steve Geltz, 443 feet (September 13th)
He hit the ball real far. Edwin Encarnacion doesn’t hold back when he sees a pitch he can destroy.
5t. Ian Desmond vs Aaron Harang, 443 feet (September 16th)
And this would be the home run that clinched the NL East for the Washington Nationals. Needless to say, getting a ball into that second section of seats in left field at Turner Field is one hell of an effort.

1. Mike Trout vs Jason Vargas, 489 feet (June 27th)
2. Giancarlo Stanton vs Eric Stults, 484 feet (April 4th)

4. Justin Upton vs Jenrry Mejia, 477 feet (April 10th)
