During Wednesday night’s Blue Jays-Rays game at Tropicana Field, we saw something we don’t see too often at a domed stadium – a rain delay. Prior to the delay, a clap of thunder scared the bejeezus out of Jays outfielder Melky Cabrera.
Yeah, I think I could watch that a time or two.
As for the delay itself, it wasn’t technically a rain delay – it was caused by a block of lights going out at Tropicana Field.
But hey, the Rays don’t need a new stadium, right?
