This fan at Wrigley Field saved a homer! Well…kind of. He made a spectacular catch, but didn’t prevent the run from going on the board.
Yeah, the fan caught the home run ball…but it was already gone. He just prevented the ball from leaving Wrigley Field and heading onto Waveland Avenue.
Of course, he also swapped out the home run ball with a different ball before throwing it back, but that’s the less impressive part of this sequence.
