It looks like that a deal has been agreed to in principle that would send Texas Rangers closer Joakim Soria to the Detroit Tigers.

In 33 1/3 innings this season, Soria has a 2.70 ERA for the Rangers, striking out 42 while walking just four.
Knebel was the 39th overall pick in last summer’s Draft, and has struck out 54 hitters in 42 innings across three levels of baseball, including an 8 2/3 inning stint in the majors.
In 83 innings with high-A Lakeland, the 20-year old Thompson has a 3.14 ERA to go with 79 strikeouts in 83 innings. He just earned a promotion to AA Erie.
Both Tigers pitchers heading to Texas were consensus top ten prospects in their organization this winter.
