In 1965, Minnesota hosted its first All-Star Game. Tonight, the state hosts its third midsummer classic. MLB released some archival footage of that 1965 game, which features a number of Hall of Famers, including Hank Aaron, Al Kaline, Frank Robinson, Roberto Clemente, and Sandy Koufax. It’s really an awesome piece of history, and I love that MLB keeps dangling these historical carrots in front of us to keep our appetites wet.
