Adam Wainwright has a habit of making hitters look silly. He did that to Carlos Gomez on Saturday, striking him out with this vicious curveball in the fifth inning. After whiffing, Gomez angrily tried to break his bat over his knee three times, eventually just giving up and smashing it on the ground, following that outburst up by spiking his helmet. St. Louis rolled to a 10-2 win, moving them into a tie with Milwaukee at the top of the NL Central.
