During Sunday’s Astros-Angels game, Angels pitcher Mike Morin did what he was supposed to do on this pop up – he got out of the way, and let his infielders take care of it. But then, something strange happened, and Morin was spurred into action.
Yup – Hank Conger and C.J. Cron collided, and neither of them caught the ball. Instead, a squatting Morin showed off his cat-like reflexes to make the diving catch. Don’t always give up on a play, folks.
