Coors Field and the Great American Ballpark were both represented very well this week, and guess what? We have a new member of the yearly top five.
1. Hanley Ramirez vs Jorge de la Rosa, 472 feet (June 8th)
Hanley…bruh. This thing nearly left Coors Field. It was the perfect combination of events in Denver that led to Ramirez killing this ball.
2. Wilin Rosario vs Mike Minor, 468 feet (June 10th)
This homer by Rosario nearly hit the back of the batter’s eye in center field at Coors. He absolutely tattooed it.
3. Scott Van Slyke vs Tony Cingrani, 448 feet (June 9th)
This ball went off the end of the second deck at Great American Ballpark. We’ve established that anything hit up there takes a haul, but to left center too? Yikes.
4. Eric Hosmer vs Matt Daley, 445 feet (June 7th)
This puppy still hasn’t landed. I can’t believe that’s only his second homer of the year.
5. Tim Federowicz vs Nick Masset, 441 feet (June 7th)
Who in the hell is Tim Federowicz? Furthermore, WHO CARES?! Welcome to the list!
Five longest homers of the year
1. Giancarlo Stanton vs Eric Stults, 484 feet (April 4th)
2. David Ortiz vs Masahiro Tanaka, 482 feet (April 22nd)

4. Ramirez vs de la Rosa, 472 feet (June 8th)
5. Paul Goldschmidt vs Troy Patton, 470 feet (May 28th)
